Yali: I've seen it in two ways. One i've seen just pay the levels is the same, but they were paid exceptionally well for their level. Another one was, i don't even think it was this person's fault, really. They came in and said a number, and then some one else said, ok, that means you're this level. And then that level was higher than the expectations at that level were they weren't able to meet very well. Yali: It could have been solved by being more sceptical or being harder to negotiate with. But maybe they also would have come in with more reasonable expectations.
