PyPI and the DSF: A Structured Partnership

DSF has no direct control over the Django developers list and they do their thing. So we can't tell them to put a feature in. And those are very separate. I believe it's similar with Python. Can you just go over that distinction? Yeah, absolutely. The DSF owns the Django trademark copyright. Same for the PSF. For me, it's the big thing that the DSF does and the PSF is very active in simi-world. Like if PyPI was technically a world community support system, or Django is trademarked in whatever country,. then it's much easier to make sure all work that happens on both sides of the fence works properly.
