How Do You Value Your Reputation for Loyalty to Your Investments?
James halperin: When making investment decisions you somehow mathematically calculate a value to birchers reputation for loyalty. He says it's almost impossible for us to trade in their securities because people would think we knew something we didn't or particularly we were selling at that time. Halperin also talks about the opportunity cost of making an occasional advantageous disposal and how he wouldn't dream of trading around businesses so that my estate was a hundred and five percent of some very large number instead of a hundred percent of some large number.
