Is There a Connection Between Druidism and Early Christianity?

There are very direct correlations between druidism or Celtic religion and the early forms of Christianity. For example, I mentioned just now the elliptical form, the implicit elliptical form that their temples took. And we know from some of the early saints, in particular St. Patrick, that one of the early Christian rituals involved processing sunwires around a well to be consecrated.
