The GOP Shouldn't Use Their Leverage With the Debt Ceiling Increase
I think that in many ways it's a violation of the separation of church and state because I really do think that they're teaching religion to kids in public schools. The consequences are only starting to be felt, but they are significant and it's going to get worse. And if you want to adjudicate whether it's right or wrong to talk about these issues with children, we should at least be able to come to an agreement that the government doesn't get to spend our money to do it. As far as I'm concerned, I'm very disappointed in the GOP that they haven't used their leverage with the debt ceiling to defund the Department of Education and also defund the FBI. This is
