Transplantation and AML in Adults
Study looked at effects of allogeneic transplantation on mortality and patient-reported outcomes in a cohort of adult AML patients. Transplant was associated with reduced risks of mortality in the entire study population and most of the subgroups. The authors found that function, social life, performance status, and depressive symptoms were better in patients selected for transplant compared to those not selected for transplant.
