There's no way to verify what an angel does or doesn't want to be called. What is verifiable is whether the souls he's helping were those of real people who really died in the ways indicated and a future study. It's distinctive, and for some, that would be a source of concern. Then there are the biblical condemnations of necromancy and the Church's warnings against mediums and spiritism.
