The Principia of the Sun

In Isaac Newton's seminal work the Principia, he concluded an estimate for the range of distances from the sun that a planet could be at and have liquid water. The Earth falls kind of in the middle of the sweet spot, of the habitable zone around our sun. Sometimes people call it the Goldilocks zone because it's not too hot and not too cold for the existence of liquid water on this life.
