The Importance of Free Trade Agreements

The idea is that you import things into the free port without any duties being paid. They become an excuse to give other tax benefits to businesses in those areas. And so after Brexit, if you no longer have a free trade agreement with the EU, suddenly there's a better case to be made for a free port. That would have been the case if it had a hardBrexit.
