I'm an econ major and I have like a CS minor, but it's not really my full career focus. All of my family friends, they're some kind of like engineering or like law or like very Asian-approved questions. But there is one person who ended up doing creative stuff because I'm the only creative person. And then he's like really successful in it. For them, they grew up in cultural revolution. So they have no idea about these like possible routes for creativity. They never saw any artists like become successful and stuff. A lot of our parents immigrated over here. So they had to do what was most like in demand. The most secure option for money
