What Is Typology?
In your 40 questions book, you define typology as a person, office, place, institution, event or thing in salvation history that anticipates and escalates toward its anti-type. We're trying to look at how Old Testament realities like these people or events or offices have a role to play. They are anticipating something. And not only do I use the language, it anticipates, they share correspondences with and escalate toward the anti- type.
