Starting a garden may not be normal for you and your family, but pretty much everyone has done it. So the first thing is, start where you're at. Don't make excuses. Be a problem solver. You can grow things in containers, even during the winter. Herbs are easy to plant; they don't take that much room when using small amounts. Growing organic food doesn't need chemicals or pesticides like most store-bought vegetables do.
