The End of Science
I predicted in The End of Science that scientists would become more desperate as they're bumping up against these limits. But what we've got now is the replication crisis, which is this growing recognition that a majority of claims can't be corroborated. I think the integrity of science is sort of in question now. Psychedelic research has really taken off. And instead of looking at it in this mean-spirited way, I'm thinking, this is great. It's actually what I imagine science was like back in the 60s when a lot of scientists were taking drugs and influenced by the counterculture.
