Introduction

Leslie Sines is about to come out with her debut collection titled Have You Been Long Enough at Table. It's a collection about Cuba, family, exile, but most of all, a about everything she doesn't know or wasn't told. Her father was just two years old when he moved to Brazil with his family and her mother was four. She went to Jamaica, a Catholic boarding school there had accepted her and her sisters as refugees.
