This was a multi signature wallet. Tathat had nine validators. And so what that meant was it required five different entities to all sign any transaction. One hacker, by gaining the private keys that sky mavis could use, could sign four of the five signatures. A fifth signature came from m a node run by the axi d ao. It is not about kind o te code being the problem. This was somehow getting the private keys to one set of private keys that allowed the hacker to sign four signatures and another set of private key that allowed them to sign the fifth signature.
