The Importance of Category Theory in Haskell Programming
category theory for Haskell programmers is sort of not on the critical path, really. You don't have to put yourself under immense pressure to understand anything. There is one area in which knowing something about category theory actually changes the way you program in Haskell. I think that's one once you learn about algebra and co-algebra.
