The Duty of Love to the People of God
Christians must live meekly as exemplary citizens, silencing any slanderers. Christian faith is a faith that accords dignity to all. Many people in our societies feel despised by their neighbours. See how they love one another. The supreme duty of fear of god comes above everything and before everything else. This is the third charge that he gives in this the emperor is the final one. He must be honored. All these things must be characterized by respect of the office and of the one who is within it.
