The Role of Oxytocin in Horses in Friendly Behaviors

I want to go back to what you've said about relationship building because I think that is a beautiful thought. There's really interesting bits of very, very interesting research recently that has looked at the role of oxytocin in horses in human directed friendly behaviors. They have slightly higher oxytocin levels and excitosis commonly and sloppily referred to as the love hormone but that's because one of the body and all mammals is that it facilitates social interactions. And now we also know that if facilities in social interactions across species as well. We need to ask ourselves always in every situation. What are our horses getting out of this? Are they genuinely enjoying this or not.
