The Biosphere 2 Project
Biosphere 2 contained a rainforest, Savannah and mini ocean. The only thing going in from the outside world during the two-year experiment would be sunlight. Sewage and wastewater was recycled with the help of plants,. soil, the atmosphere, and machines. Biospheres were also expected to generate lucrative patents.
