The Role of Social Media in Media Travels
The last 10 years has been this very fascinating kind of wake up call for traditional media. As soon as we've got this hyper fragmentation of our media environment, legacy media has been caught flat-footed by the transition to narrowcast media through social media. I feel personally like, and you kind of identify this in the book a bit too, that the right doesn't fact check as much. But I also feel like they have a better grasp on how to utilize social networks and really get out whatever they want to put to their audiences.
