What's the Us Doing in the Region?
The us. Has been, from what i've seen, very happy for france to sort of take the lead. There's a big drown base in northern Africa that no one really knows what to do with. The US is spending quite a lot of money on political projects rather than military projects. We don't see it as having any real strategic interest at all.
