Lord of the Rings - Blindness
I was really struck by the fact that like he is we see that Barrick is in a real state now. that his bitterness and his regret is seeping into him. The way that he says Galadriel's name to Muriel as she approaches is just dripping dripping with derision. I don't know if this blindness is going to last or not but I was just curious like why they would blind her. There's a few instances of blindness in Lord of the Rings for Frodo Mary and Pip and they all are connected.
