The Importance of Focusing Telescopes and Microscopes
The type of telescope slash microscope that I've described is very simple it only uses two lenses. important that the objective lens and the eyepiece lens are placed at exactly the right distance apart. If you put an object right in front of a convex lens you get an enlarged virtual image. You can use a second objective lens to form a real image in front of that first in front of the eyepiece lens so as to sort of cheat and view enlarged images of objects.
