Are We Working Productively or Unproductively?
We're not better off because we all work. In fact, most of us would prefer not to work. We want people producing the things that we need and that make our lives better. So wen lia rainard thinks that the fete is doing everybody a favor by protecting jobs with quantitative easing. She is inflicting significant harm on the overall economy. Having labor misaplicated to unproductive uses results in a lower living standard for everybody. And the people who are most affected, who have their living standards rthe most, are the middle class and the working poor.
