A company called replica. company market an AI chat bot as a friendship app designed to give users a place where they can socialize. There's multiple options for how this bot should respond to you, but there is a romantic option. One Redditor started a petition to the company asking them to bring that part of the interaction back. Italy actually banned the replica chat bot on the basis that the company was obtaining personal data.
