The Three Phases of Love
When you have that shift, when you come to trust who he is, then you want to love him. So it's not that you're just going through a rote discipline of a practice,. That desire to love him comes from within, but it comes from knowing who he is. And I imagine that that must be highly frustrating to him to be so misunderstood. But I do think there's something to be said for this three phase process where you start out with the traditional God and escape into the impersonal God.
