i think the stability in theapi is worth it. And i'm sure the community thanks you for the attention paid at that level. I did starte rit. I took over from the founders of the prometheus project, like matan juliers. They started this. When i joined the team in two thousand 13, i think, then i was like one of the tars. It's just one modul. These days it's so popular to create like a instumentation libraries with like ten moduls,. or have different version across is really hard to consume. We pay a lot of attention to writing very easy to read, maintainable code. Sometimes will sacrifice performance
