The Rise and Fall of Open AI
Since then, open AI has said several things about regulation like they want a global authority and a global framework. They also announced a $100,000 grant, 10 of them, for building prototypes of a democratic process for steering AI. We also saw Sundar Pichai of Google who said that AI is too important not to regulate. And at first, when it began with Sam Altman, I really thought, wow, this is new people calling for regulation about their own technology. But this big tech calling forregulation about data use and AI and crypto, it happens more than you think.
