Sarab: The idea that pain is common and you're not alone? Is really powerful for many people. It's kind of that reassuring at the first stage. Then you started talking a lot more about the biopsychosocial approach, bringing in different elements of the person's life. Sarab: And then I think that important message that pain doesn't always equal tissue damage - it's possible to have pain in the absence of tissue damage.
