The Evolution of Genetic Algorithms
In LLMs, we try to guess the next word in a sentence from that tiny idea. We have now built this sprawling brain in a box that can guess not just the next word, but give you whole paragraphs. How does it work? I'm also trying to minimize the loss function or increase the reward, but through some sort of survival of the fittest genetic, you know, kind of adaptation instead. The only difference is we're not using any calculus.
