The Origins of Sex Classification
The reason we have sex classification in the first place is to make sure that women for the most part don't get as much as men in terms of rights or resources. So I realized that the exclusion of trans people from the sex classification system wasn't initially intentional. It was an accidental byproduct of misogyny and using the state's power to differentiate between men and women.
