Could a Massive Solar Flare Definitely Wipe Out Humanity?

A massive enough solar flare could wipe out all living things on earth. It would definitely break our technology and satellites in space. We have the mananic shield to protect us ryght now. But if that changes, or it weakens, or if the flare is like we really use the woper of a flare then. I'd say yes, a mass of sholer flars able to wipe out humanity.
