Is LN URL Needed in Post-12?

I feel like there is enough market install base now for it, but is it needed? I have lightning URL. You can use LN URL with LDK if you want to. But do we even need LN URL in post-12? Is that even? There was something called... That's probably the strongest argument. It's the DNS thing, right? I mean, DNS. So something similar. Like lightning address is an LN URL human readable. And it's nice to have your Sats sent to NVK at NVK.org.
