The Dangers of Comparison and Envy
"Envy is a distraction from God, right? Because the whole of our lives are supposed to be about God perfecting us, but we have to be there," he says. "So envy distorts the mind such that my perception of reality is distorted when I see a good that somebody else has or that I think they have,. How I perceive it." He goes on to talk about how this can destroy relationships with each other and one's relationships with God.
