Sonic 3: The Best Platforming Game Ever

Sonic 3 is a remarkable game through and through because it maintains that quality pretty much throughout. It feels the most bespoke in terms of every route has been crafted by someone. This was an innovative, hungry team competing with Nintendo now at the top of their bloody game. There's not three knuckles where there are new things to see and experience, no matter where you go. And this is the least complex level in the game. That's not a slight, I love that game, but it just does not compare.
