The Differences Between a Spinal and a General Anesthetic

If I were getting a knee then today, I would want a spinal followed by IPAC, a Dr. Canal, geniculars. Even if I'm having a spinal as well, I want all of that in the mix. The reason our default is still a spinal is the early recovery period. It's just it's a softer landing. You know, so they kind of come out of the Tiva sedation with a propofol in their in the recovery room and the legs are still a little bit numb and starting to wear off. And it's just a an easier transition to the rest of the recovery than waking up wildly from a GA.
