The Importance of Strategic Positioning in Marketing
As a journalist, you have to find the lead. What's the most valuable thing that we're trying to convey here? And how do we get that articulated? So I'm applying the same techniques and the same approaches that I use when I was a journalist to BDB SaaS marketing. Positioning is, is art and science. Some of it is creativity, subjectivity, trying to get a feel for what customers want and how they feel. The other part is in-depth research, competitive audits, really getting a sense of looking at data and looking at keyword data.
