A Child's Playdate in a Forest
"I remember some relatives and their two daughters had come to spend the week end at our farmhouse. And on the last day of their week end, i had planned a picnic, a play date for myself and the two girls' We all dressed up in our finest summer dresses, had a trusty blanket with us and, of course, a basketful of dolls." "We were told not to wander off too far so we wouldn't get lost in the forest," he says. 'And like the children that we were, we listened.' He recalls being fixed on its eyes, and even in the distance, they looked like flames. It broke into a sprint towards the nearest tree.
