Should MidCaps Do Better Than the Large Cap Index?

We do expect we will likely have a modest recession later this year or early next, largely due to the fact that many of the Fed policy makers believe that rates need to go higher. I think once we see light at the end of that business cycle where we bottom and then start to see growth again, that's where the mid caps really start to do well. We just worry that the Fed will ratchet up rates two more times. And that could push a soft landing into a mild recession, perhaps a little more moderate recession.
