What a Cool Place to Be a Cemetery

I think there is a great unspoken interest among Scottish, British people in cenetries. Lots of people find comfort or solace, or just... It's a calming place to be a cemetery. I certainly found that during the most intense days of lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic, when you're allowed to take your daily exercise for an hour,. I would go into the cemetery behind my house in preference to the park. There was a kind of a neighbourly sense of an armour in the shoulder, and a kind of whispered word in the air that everything was going to be OK.
