What Are the Minerals in Your Water?

Sodium is one of those important electrolytes that we need. It helps with blood pressure, influences stomach acid and it's also important for insulin sensitivity. Low sodium leads to insulin resistance, poor adrenal function and poor digestion. If you do add sea salt to your water, typically you want to add like a squeeze of lemon or lime or some other form of potassium because as we'll talk about in the ratios later.
