The Death of My Brother Lucas

I grew up in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro. There are many favelas or slums where police have no power. Instead, authority is held by the local drug traffickers. The traffickers used to control more than half of the city but now they control less than a third. But unfortunately neither me nor my family were around to witness the improvement as we moved out when I was a teenager.
