The Idiot
There's a lot of people who draw the line from Cervantes to Dostoevsky's The Idiot. Michigan and Quixote didn't do anything wrong, but they live absurdly within this world of bad intentions. And you're really taking this guy. You're walking with him and he's helping or sometimes hurting the situation. But after he becomes a holy fool and kind of moves on, there's two books, a book of consolation and book of journeys in the structure of the novel. He's going to Jerusalem to atone to make up for what he's done.
