What's the Cost of a Virtual Machine?
Igeigong: Instead of executing statement by statement, what do i do? You compile it to another language. That means we take in the a s t that the poers have produced and then we translate the a s T to another language - called 'by code' The book is about building a virtual machine which can run any computer program without having to change its architecture or anything like that. Igeigong says he has been working on his second book for two years but hasn't had time to publish yet. It's due out later this year.
