How Does a Continuous Glucose Monitor Work?

When we exercise, if we don't take anything at all, no drinks, no sodium, no nothing, our blood sodium concentration will go up. And from a physiological point of view, that makes sense because when that goes up, we get thirsty. So we want to drink to replace that fluid and that'll bring it back down. It's a perfectly normal kind of well designed mechanism for an evolutionary point of view. But it then means that yeah, if you're replacing the fluid, you know, relative to sodium, it's going to be much greater in terms of importance.
