Ramana Maharishi said that if a man is truly seeking God or the self, theories are irrelevant. I guess all of that kind of points towards the idea of doing things for a result. It's another one of those funny seeming paradoxes that we sit and try to still our mind. The divisions are still there but they're unimportant, the lines are just like the lines you draw on a piece of paper.
