Alvin Knard's Prayers Were Answered 36 Years Later in 2019
Alvin Knard was sentenced to fin prison for $50. The Alabama court of criminal appeals decided that the trial court had erred in allowing testimony related to Wendell Davis' confession, which implicated Knard. Judge David Carpenter stumbled upon Knard's case in some documents that just so happened to land on his desk.
