The Rape of Nanking
The rape of nanking took place in late 19 37 to early 19 38, when chian kai shek abandoned the city to the japanese. 300 thousand civilians were massacred over a hellish month of occupation. Men, women and children were subjected to acts of such barbarism that the entire world recoiled in horror.
