Data Modeling and Conway's Law

I think there's a trade off right where it's fast versus formal. I'm actually in the middle of writing a book on data modeling right now. The practices still need to be consolidated to some degree or agreed upon but as you say it's very clickish and Conway's laws and effects so you kind of get the result of that which is extreme fragmentation In some ways of processes and practices and so forth.
