Is the Sceptic a Refuter?
Prover and sceptic really seemed to me to capture what i was after. So somebody's putting forward a proof, that's the prover, and the sceptic is the one who's asking questions. Every every step in the pina has to be necessarily truth preserving where there can be no exceptions. And so for perspicuity, oe by the wind ene, the corresponding moves by sceptic, in this case, are to insure any property of necessary tru preservation right? The job of sceptic is to make sure that each step is necessarily truth preserving - it's not too quick for me or looks too fishy... Then skeptic goes on and says
